Veteran Onboarding Information and Agreement

Based on available resources at any given time, Warrior Rising strives to accept and assist veterans at any point
in the process of starting or accelerating their own business, whether it is only a concept or if they have
actual operations.


Please take note: If you are considering forming a non-profit, be aware that while we will offer assistance in
the nature of training and mentoring, there are limitations placed on providing financial assistance in order
to avoid conflicts or other concerns with donors having funds directed towards another non-profit.

Vet Applicant Instructions

Please complete all information in the application and ensure that it is accurate. If you omit information,
in particular, telephone number, or if the email address is incorrect, it will prevent us from providing services
to you.


In particular, if you email us using a mobile phone or tablet, please be sure to include your email address
in the body of the message

since your email address will not otherwise be displayed.

Please ensure that you check your inbox and your spam and trash folders for our emails.

Please be aware that, although we do not generally provide consultation for individual plans, we may from time to
time request your business plan or other information for review in order for us to assist you.
Our staff and volunteers will maintain as confidential all business information you provide.

Please note that, because of the number of applications and applicants, we do not execute confidentiality
agreements with applicants.

Please do not just cut and paste information into a template online for the sake of submitting information
since that will not help advance the process and will likely stall it.

We do not provide startup or launch grants based merely on your application.
We are not an emergency financial assistance organization and cannot shortcut our processes.

Our Process

Preliminary: Application Process

You must complete the online application. All information is required and cannot be processed unless complete.

Phase 1: Warrior Academy (Instruction)

Warrior Academy consists of 40 instructional modules with references and assignments designed to help develop
a business plan. It is based on a military Operations Order format.

Phase 2: Coaching / Master Classes / Webinars

Coaching is conducted via virtual Zoom sessions. Master Classes are held monthly and include keynote
presentations and breakout sessions.

  • Developing a go-to-market strategy
  • Collecting analytics for operations and investment
  • Obtaining legal and accounting advisors
  • Developing an optimal financing strategy

Stage 3: Veteran Business Accelerator Program

An 8-week cohort-based program exploring startups, franchising, and buying existing businesses.

Stage 4: Funding Opportunities

Warrior Rising assists with funding education and investor introductions when available.

Stage 5: Warrior Community

Participants are expected to support the Warrior Rising community and mission through mentorship,
participation, and advocacy.

Acknowledgement

By participating, you acknowledge that all assistance is provided on a pro bono basis and that Warrior Rising
assumes no liability for outcomes.

You authorize Warrior Rising to use your name, story, and likeness for lawful promotional purposes without
compensation.

You agree to maintain confidentiality regarding other participants and resolve disputes amicably.

I certify that I am at least 18 years of age and competent to contract in my own name.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND AGREEMENT
